Use this calculator to estimate the yield of THC produced from THCa during the decarboxylation process.

To use this calculator:

Enter the weight of THCa in grams in the "Weight of THCa" field of the form.

The estimated yield of THC produced and the estimated CO2 loss will be displayed below the form.

Please enter a positive value between 0.1 and 10 billion in the "Weight of THCa" field. Any value outside this range will result in an error message.

The THC yield is calculated using the following formula:


                                             $THC weight = THCa weight \times \frac{314.47}{358.48}$

The CO2 loss is calculated using the following formula:


                                             $CO2 loss = THCa weight - THC weight$

These formulas take into account the molecular weights of THCa (358.48 g/mol) and THC (314.47 g/mol).
